20 Days On Mission

Beginning on Tuesday, February 1st all of ANiC is invited to participate in 20 DAYS ON MISSION using a book prepared by our On Mission priority leader, Canon Brian McVitty.  Each day you will be transported to an inspiring global mission project: from building a school in Paraguay to a refugee camp in Myanmar, from church planting in Cuba to supporting churches in the nuclear shadow of Fukushima.  Each day you will discover a new global mission project supported by one of our Anglican Network in Canada congregations.  These 20 days will be a countdown to World Mission Sunday on February 20th.

To participate we encourage every member of ANiC to download the free book called 20 DAYS ON MISSION from the ANiC web site.  Then on February 1st begin with the first of the daily readings in the book.  Each day you will be introduced to an ANiC congregation and their global mission project. Canon Garth Hunt has written a special theme prayer for each of the 20 days.

Bishop Charlie says, “Will you join me February 1st through the 20th in reading an entry from this book each day? Take time to thank God for what is being done and pray especially for those who are to be reached by each mission project. I know we will be inspired and encouraged daily by the creative and generous global mission work which is being done.”
