Music Coordinator - Ottawa, ON

Messiah West is looking for a Music Coordinator to lead and develop a music ministry that is biblically rich and encourages vibrant congregational participation in worship. Compensation: $1000/month.

Responsibilities 


To support the vision and mission of Messiah West by coordinating, leading and developing music ministry, including but not limited to:

• Selecting hymns and songs for Sunday worship in conjunction with the pastoral team • Recruiting and developing volunteer musicians
• Scheduling music teams, including sound tech volunteers and guest musicians
• Rehearsing with and leading the music team at least 75% of the time (3-4 per month)
