Ed Lewis

Treasurer

Ed is a Professional Engineer with a Masters Degree in Engineering from McMaster University and an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He is retired from the federal government after 33 years in engineering, scientific, and executive positions. Ed has published two books and many papers on ice and ice research, and has lectured on related subjects around the world. He has traveled extensively both for business and pleasure. 

Ed has been married to Dyanna for 53 years and has two adult children and two grandchildren. He has attended St George’s Burlington for more than 37 years serving in many capacities including co-leading the youth program for 11 years, teaching Sunday school, serving as warden and in men’s ministry. He accepted Jesus as his personal saviour as an adult in 1984. 

Ed served on the ANiC board for 6 years including acting as Treasurer and has managed the ANiC insurance program since 2008. He is the treasurer and a director of Anglican Relief and Development Fund Canada. 

He gardens, reads extensively, plays bridge, and is an avid woodworker.
