Bishop Grant and Dr. Wendy LeMarquand
Throughout their life together, the LeMarquands have lived out the value that mission is what we must do as the church for the world and to the glory of God. Originally from Montreal, they have lived in service to God not only in their home city, but also in Toronto, Kenya, Pittsburgh, and Ethiopia.
First serving as a parish priest in Montreal, then teaching New Testament in Kenya, and then at Wycliffe College in Toronto, Bishop Grant served as area Bishop for the Horn of Africa in the Diocese of Egypt from 2013 until 2018. Currently he is teaching at Trinity School for Ministry in Pittsburgh.Dr. Wendy LeMarquand is a Family Medicine Specialist who has practised general and tropical medicine in Canada, Kenya, the United States, and Ethiopia. She has extensive experience in teaching on prayer and healing and has worked with leaders in Gambella to equip them to teach medical science in rural villages. She has also served with her husband as a missionary of the Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders – USA.
Together, they have two grown children who both live in Canada.
We feel very blessed to have them join us in Vancouver this May.
