Prayerful decision
Joining the Network as a parish is a great way to declare your commitment to biblically-faithful Anglicanism and to support other parishes who have also taken this stand.

Given the current climate in our country and in the Anglican Church of Canada, those taking a stand for biblical-faithfulness may encounter opposition. So, joining the Network is not an easy decision for some. For all of us, it is a decision that should be made prayerfully.

However, we take courage from Jesus' words:

“Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Mt. 5:12).

“Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name for they do not know the One who sent me”. (Jn 15: 20-21)

Membership process
As a first step, you should contact the Chancellor of the Network, Michael Donison.
Cheryl will be able to outline the process and provide practical advice and support.

Parishes wishing to join the Network generally follow these steps:

Parish wardens and/or councils carefully review the Parish Membership Declaration and the documents listed on our Membership information page.
The wardens should then contact Cheryl Chang to obtain advice and assistance with the process
Information meetings are organized so the parish council can discuss with the congregation, the reasons for and against joining the Network, as well as the implications of such action. These meetings should encourage open discussion by allowing parishioners to voice their questions and concerns.
Then, at a special or annual vestry meeting, a motion affirming the Parish Membership Declaration is presented for a vote
Then two parish wardens sign a copy of the Parish Membership Declaration and send this to Jude Carriere, together with a copy of the motion you passed.
