Primates meetings
Prior to the meeting of all Primates (Feb 14-19), the Global South Primates are meeting beginning this weekend. The issues they are discussing are weighty and numerous. Please pray that they will be able to discern God's leading and that the meetings will advance the building of God's Kingdom. Also, please pray that despite their onerous agenda and the dominant focus on US-related matters, they will find time to adequately address the situation in Canada. May these meetings - and the Primates meetings to follow - result in something far greater, far better than anything we could ask or imagine. We pray that, because of the outcome of these meetings, Christ will be lifted up throughout Canada, the work of the Gospel will be served, and new congregations will be birthed.
Answer to your prayers
We asked you to pray for Julie Walters (wife of Trevor, our Network BC Dean and rector of St Matthew's in Abbotsford) who has been in very serious condition in a Florida hospital for over a week. As an answer to prayer, Julie and Trevor flew back to Abbotsford via air ambulance on Tuesday. She is now in MSA Hospital and has been on a respirator. Please continue to pray for Trevor, Julie, their family and their congregation during this intensely stressful, emotionally-draining time.
